About the Conference

The CBB Annual Conference is a one-day event hosted by the Center for Biocatalysis and Bioprocessing at
the University of Iowa. It brings together researchers, industry leaders, and students to share breakthroughs,
foster collaboration, and explore the latest advancements in biocatalysis, bioprocessing, and biotechnology.
Designed to bridge academic and industry innovation, the conference offers presentations, poster sessions,
speakers, and networking opportunities that drive progress.

We have implemented a new online registration form. Students participating in poster session will be asked to submit their abstracts when filling out the registration form.

Poster Session

Poster Presentation Competition

Students, undergraduate or graduate, as well as Professionals are encouraged to participate in our annual Poster Presentation Session. Students are eligible to receive one of our two Director's awards, a great way to boost your resume!

Each award will include a certificate and will be displayed at the CBB facility.
