Clinical Rounds consists of Clinical Science graduate students and/or faculty presenting updates on their research projects in 5-minute data blitzes and 15-minute research talks.

Please join us for this exciting installment of clinical rounds featuring Dr. Carolyn Turvey, Professor of Psychiatry in the School of Psychiatry at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Turvey is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Iowa, the Vice President of Psychiatry Research, as well as the Clinical Director at the VA's Office of Rural Health Veteran’s Rural Health Resource Center in Iowa City. She is also a research health scientist for the Center for Access and Delivery Research Evaluation at the Iowa City VA. Dr. Turvey completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, internship and fellowship at Harvard Medical School, and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Yale. She has dedicated her scientific life to understanding depression and suicide in late-life, comorbid chronic illness, and to improving care for these conditions through innovative delivery formats (e.g., telehealth, mHealth). She is interested in ways technology can enhance the use of measurement-based care in clinical practice.”
